What is the difference between tax sales and tax title sales ?

There are different names for tax sales depending on the state.  In Louisiana, the tax lien sale is called a tax title sale.   In Indiana, it is simply a tax lien sale.  Both sales have redemption periods of differing lengths.  These are the basic differences between the two sales.
