# What is the right of redemption?

This refers to the right of the property owner or other interested party to remove tax sale title to the property after the tax title sale by paying the purchase price for the property in the tax title sale, including costs, five percent (5%) penalty thereon, and interest at the rate of one percent (1%) per month until redemption.
