What will I receive to verify my purchase?

After the sale closes and payment has been received by the treasurer a certificate will be created and mailed to each winning bidder.

Please note:

It is critical that buyers safeguard the tax certificate(s) they are issued.

If the property is redeemed during the redemption period, the buyer will need to return the certificate to receive funds the buyer is owed as a result of the redemption.

If there’s no redemption, buyers will need their certificate to give to an attorney to start the proceedings to obtain deed.
