Can a certificate be assigned?

A certificate of sale is assignable. However, an assignment is not valid unless it is endorsed and entered into the county system in the office of the County Treasurer from which the certificate was issued.

The county may charge an assignment transaction fee. If so, this fee shall not be added to the redemption amount.
